Facilities

Facilies and equipment are available throughout the CUNY system for photonics track research. Graduate students may take advantage of the Advanced Science Research Center’s state-of-the-art radio frequency, optics, micro- and nanofabrication user facilities.

Areas

Faculty members’ research interests span quasi-particle dynamics, low-dimensional materials, quantum optics and optical computing, optomechanics, metamaterials, ultra-fast spectroscopy, nanophotonics, nano- and microfabrication, modeling and simulation, biophotonics, wave propagation in disordered media, topological photonics and more.
